ABOUT ME

Born in New York, USA, I have also lived in London, Rome, the Tuscan Hills and Florida, before settling on the Kent coast next to the North Sea.

My first novel, Daisy Chain, is published in March 2023 by Claret Press. It won a Book Adaptation award in the Page Turner awards, so there will be a script produced. It also won a Silver Award 2022 in the Historical Fiction Company. I have been writing since I was old enough to pick up a pen: school plays, news articles, poetry, short stories and blogs.

I am a mother of three; a dog lover – currently with a fondness for chihuahuas; a traveller; an educationalist; an alumni of Leeds University, the Open University, and The Novelry.
